2019 BILLAUD SIMON CHABLIS 1ER MONTEE de TONNERRE

An elegant array is comprised of cool citrus rind, mineral reduction, quinine and white flowers. I very much like the intensity and fine detail to the highly energetic and overtly stony middle weight flavors that terminate in a clean, bone-dry and youthfully austere finale. This is lovely, and I particularly like the balance, though in contrast to the Fourchaume, this is a wine that's going to need at least a few years first.

The succulent, round and delicious medium weight flavors possess a beguiling texture as well as notably better depth and persistence. Note that this well-made effort could easily be enjoyed young.
